Recently a new issue with the Windows web browser Internet Explorer was revealed by Microsoft. This specific issue is concerning because of how widespread the bug is. It’s a flaw that is inside all versions of Internet Explorer from 6 – 11. It’s the most used program to surf the web. If you use Windows you should consider downloading a different web browser at least until there is a patch released for Internet Explorer. As of this writing there isn’t one.
Here is the official post detailing what the problem is: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/library/security/2963983
You could try and follow these instructions to keep using Internet Explorer:
But it might be easier to download a different web browser to surf the web. When you install one of these they will import all your bookmarks from Internet Explorer.
Here’s some alternate browsers:
Chrome (by Google) – https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/
Opera – http://www.opera.com/
If you still use Windows XP you should stop using Internet Explorer all together and get a different browser because Microsoft will not be patching the flaw in their web browser now that they are no longer supporting XP.
